RED Episode 141:  The Tampa Trifecta

RUN

We are revisiting the Elite Events Turkey Trot that we ran last year! It was live then, and it appears to be happening live again this year! We are so excited. The few live events we have participated in over the last two months have made us think back to all that we have to be thankful for in our running community during this challenging year.

We are also doing a virtual race - Richard's Run for Life. It is a 5K to raise funds for the Moffitt Cancer Center. There is still time to join the Run Eat Drink Podcast Team! Usually, this race is held in Tampa at night during the first weekend in November. This year, it is virtual, but we can't wait to support the Columbia Restaurant Group in meeting their goal of raising $150,000 for this organization doing the important work of supporting those battling cancer. Plus, you get a $25 gift card to use at Ulele or the Columbia Restaurant. Yum! They have even created a playlist on Spotify to run to when you complete the virtual. Here. It is on Apple Music, too!

Thank you for all you do to support our show. To all of the Runcation Nation, have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

EAT

This year, we share our favorites from the Tampa Trifecta! That means favorite appetizers, entrees, and desserts from Columbia RestaurantUlele, and Goody Goody. From Okra Fries to Crab Croquettes and Butterscotch Pie, we want you all to come down when travel resumes and have a great meal with us at one of the fantastic locations!

DRINK

Columbia RestaurantUlele, and Goody Goody have exceptional beverages, too! We share some great beer, coffee, and dessert beverages for you to keep in mind when visiting these Tampa staples. Wedding beer? Root beer float? Coffee? Pete's Manhattan? Yes, please! These are strong recommendations to keep in mind when visiting the Tampa area.

Also, we can't wait to try their newest restaurant that opened last Thursday, Casa Santo Stefano! Congratulations to the Columbia Restaurant Group on the latest addition to their family of fantastic restaurants.
